I saw this weird plant hedge thing that looked just like this walking in downtown Chicago like 4 years ago and I took a picture of it and I thought it was really funny I guess. 11 year old me was weird. But I saw this fake plant here in Ace Barnes like a year or two later and I bought it and it's been sitting in my room ever since. It's the only kind of plant I can be trusted to take care of. It's very photogenic too. It's so symmetrical. And you never have to worry about the leaves falling off.
I don't have a bike anymore but my dad has had the same one for like 25 years so I pulled it out of the garage and took pictures of it because why not. For once I actually had good lighting cause I was outside (my house is so old it by default has awful lighting everywhere). Bikes have a lot of photo opportunities. I mean there are just so many different parts to it. Definitely the easiest object I did.
When I was in lower school, every year they made us make square drawings that our parents could order merch from a company with the drawing on it. This box was something my parents got one year. Not that you can see the drawing I made in these pictures... but that's probably for the best. It's an awful drawing. There are usually a bunch of tiny knickknacks in here but I took them out so it would look better.
When I decided to do my glasses as one of my objects I immediately knew I had to recreate that one viral post about some guy who put his glasses on the floor of a museum and everyone started taking pictures of it like it was an art installation. It's a classic. The background is supposed to be black and white but you can't really tell since the floor and wall are so close to gray normally. The other one... I don't know. Swirly colors. But not swirly.
I edited both of them rainbow. That wasn't intentional. I just now realised it. I actually really struggled to take five different pictures of one pair of earbuds and just kind of said "screw it" for the last one. Which actually ended up being the close up of the ends. So I guess it worked out in the end. And I absolutely spent like five minutes untangling them after taking the other picture here.
