This is my house. Apparently it's somewhere between 120 and 150 years old. Apparently that's like, really old for a house. But it's actually one of the newer ones in the neighborhood so until I was like 8 or 9 I didn't even realise it was all that old. I found it on a map from the 1800s one time, so that was cool. I picked it for taking pictures cause realistically it's the most obvious choice. It's right there. I could only take pictures of the front, back and one side though, because my neighbors were wreaking havoc in our side yard and I didn't want to get hit with a baseball bat again. I found it pretty easy to take pictures besides that, though, since I could walk around freely on the other three sides and take as long as I wanted. That's the nice thing about owning the property.
These are of the lower school half a block from my house, Bach. It's pronounced "bah" though, to throw you off even more. You finally remember that Bach the musician is pronounced "bock", and then you're hit with this school. I almost went here for school, but then some lady at one of my mom's yoga classes or something recommended Emerson (private, k-8 school) so I ended up there instead. Bach has two really big playgrounds though so I go there a lot anyway. I had a hard time getting 5 pictures out of this one since basically everything was either blocked by trees, close to the ground, or impossible to get a good photo of without running into the street. I spent a really long time trying to take a good picture of the rain garden since the sidewalk was right there and I kept getting it in the picture. I think it worked out though.
Across the street from Bach is this church. Apparently the bells ring at 10am on Sunday, but hell if I know. I'm never awake at 10am on Sundays. Everyone leaves service before I wake up too, so I don't know who goes there. The sign outside has a boy standing next to a lion. There's one of those trap-doors to the basement in the back. On Halloween, there's a guy in the yard giving out free hot apple cider. That's all I know about it.
